The plot
A dark floor right in front of the machine. Balls appear on it at random. Walk near one and it swoops into your bag on its own curve. The dashed ring under you shows how far you reach.
Greetings from the
Incremental Inc. is a Roblox incremental game in early development, and the Plinko Lab is its first realm. Scoop up balls, pour them into a giant Plinko machine and watch them bounce down into buckets that pay out. Then spend it, rebirth, grow the floor tree, crank the generator, prestige and roll for special balls.
Click or tap the pegboard to drop a ball
Ten stops in three districts, from the plot in front of the machine to the treehouse in the far corner. Click any photo to see it bigger.
The wonderful low-poly splendor of the first realm from a bird's-eye view.

Every lap round this loop makes the next one faster. Watch the ball go round, or pick a step to read about it.
After your first rebirth, plates appear on the floor, these are stronger game-changing upgrades that similarly persist through rebirths. Click them for ×2 cash, more balls, walk speed and a special helper Robot.

A crank that makes Power for its own upgrades and plates. One day it will charge the Portal and unlock the next realm.
Reset almost everything for intense permanent upgrades and unlocking special systems that change the gameplay even more.
From your first prestige, roll special balls with Chips, one, five or ten at a time.
Start your visit on
The lab-tile square at the heart of the yard. The plot, the machine and the upgrade boards are all a few steps apart.
A dark floor right in front of the machine. Balls appear on it at random. Walk near one and it swoops into your bag on its own curve. The dashed ring under you shows how far you reach.
Step onto the round pour pad by the hopper and your whole bag tips in. The balls ride a belt and a lift up the side of the machine, then a dropper sweeps across the top and lets them go. They bounce down into the buckets and you get to see how each ball's path changes its value.
Every bucket starts at 1× the ball value. Rebirth upgrades and special balls can raise that multiplier higher and higher for maximum profit.
The main driver of making that cash flow bigger and bigger, you know what they say, gotta spend money to make money.
Across the plot, the Rebirth board trades all your cash for Rebirths, 1 for every $1K. The Rebirth Upgrades board spends them on things that stay: better buckets, more cash, more Rebirths and the Robot's upgrades.
While it might seem counterintuitive to reset your progress, the upgrades you get from rebirths are far more powerful than ones you buy with cash. Plus you get to roleplay as Sisyphus for a little bit.
Climb your way
Behind the plot, the floor tree grows toward the Prestige board and the Ball Lab, with the generator on its own platform off to the side.
After your first rebirth, a plate appears quietly on the floor behind the plot. Click a plate to buy it and the next ones grow out of it, joined by bars that turn green as you go.
The trunk runs straight to Unlocks Prestige. Side plates bring more balls, more cash, walk speed, pickup range, Auto-pour and the Robot.
The upgrade tree is crucial to unlocking new ways to play, plus it's the only way to get the PlinkoBot I built and I really need that thing out of my house, it's starting to freak me out.
The lab's second game, on its own steel platform off the plaza. Click the crank to make Power, then wait out its one-second rest while the ring of lights fills back up.
Power buys its own upgrades (more Power a turn, a faster crank, more cash) and plates on the floor tree that feed the lab. One day it will help open the Portal.
My gerbils are on vacation so you'll have to do this one with good ol' fashioned man power. Hard work is good for you anyways.
The trunk's last plate puts up the Prestige board. A prestige doubles your cash and Rebirths for good and resets almost everything else, but its perks stay with you: special balls first, then a Robot that sticks around, passive Rebirths, free auto-buy and finally the Portal.
A game mechanic so good, I did it twice!
A gumball-style gacha machine for special balls, open from your first prestige. Press E, R or F to roll one, five or ten capsules for Chips, which you find while collecting. Each capsule pops open on its ball, and new balls drop straight into your empty slots.
You can't gobble this gum! cuz it's not gum... it's balls... they're mostly made of various metal alloys and chemicals... actually I think one of them is a straight up supernova so maybe be careful with this thing.
Take a stroll through
Past the kerb, a big grass yard of trees, benches, logs and toadstools, with stone paths out to the sights. Everyone in a server shares it, so you'll see other players out here too.
A cabin in a two-trunk tree in the far corner, with stairs winding up to a deck about 19 studs off the ground and the best view of the lab. Press E on the cabin door to go inside. It's a lot bigger in there than it looks.
What's the deal with
He started Incremental Inc. These days he does his thinking up in the treehouse, hoping for someone worthy enough to task with fixing the realms.
The Founder
Oh! A visitor! Welcome to my treehouse. Bigger on the inside, isn't it?
Follow the stone path out past the machine to a little pond with a wooden dock, a red rowboat, lily pads, reeds and a bench that looks out over the water. A good spot to sit down between rebirths.
Don't you just love fishing? I had this pond stocked with all sorts of fish and then I lost the rod, if you find it then maybe you can catch something good!
Annex B is a little lab shed someone still uses: a solar panel and a dish on the roof, an antenna with a red light, a generator round the side, and shelves of jars, a microscope and a whiteboard of notes inside. Read the whiteboard.
I wonder where Annex A is!
Four special balls so far, from Common to Epic, and each rarer one hits harder. Lots more balls are on the way, and none of these rarities or odds are final. Equip them in your Collection (press C) and they start turning up on the plot among the ordinary white ones.

Pick one up and it charges the balls on the ground near it and every ball in your bag: +50% each, up to two charges a ball.

It coats the pegs it hits in slime, and every ball that touches a coat earns +25%.

It splits in two at its first peg, and each half pays one and a half times the whole ball.

Where it lands, its bucket pays another ×1 for the next five drops, stacking up to ×6.
Ten matching spares fuse into the next quality, and every new type, quality and shine fills a spot in the Ball Index.
The Plinko Lab is the first of the realms. Here's what's on the way, in order.
Next up
Rolling turns into an event, with capsules that shake and burst open across your screen, and every special ball gets its own effect, from lightning arcs to paint splats.
After that
Through the Portal to a block-breaking realm. Getting there takes Rebirths and Power.
All along the way
Help the Founder fix his realms, one at a time: a light story with a lot of heart.
